Access Remote Learning From a Home Device

Home Computer, Tablet/iPad, or Phone

If you are using a Tablet, iPad, or Phone, you may need to download the Microsoft Teams app from your App Store.

Login to Canvas 

  1. Open a browser and go to pike.instructure.com, enter your 500##### (ID number) and your password.
  2. Click on the class you want to join.

Login to Microsoft Teams

  1. Find the direct Teams Meeting link or a button that the teacher has posted on the class Canvas page.
  2. Allow the Camera and Microphone access.
  3. Type your name and click Join Now
  4. Verify your information by entering your Pike email (500#####@students.pike.k12.in.us) and password.
  5. Click Join Now again.
  6. Wait for the teacher to let you into the meeting.

**IF your teacher tells you to go to Clever for an assignment:

  1. Go to www.clever.com/in/msdpike. Click "Login with Google". Make sure to sign in with the student's SCHOOL Google account (500#####@students.pike.k12.in.us) and school password
    If you select a personal Gmail account, you will not be able to get in.
  2. Select the app/program your teacher wants you to go to.

*Please note that the District Student Tech Help Line cannot support issues with home devices. The help line can provide assistance with the steps to get logged in to Canvas and Teams.
